ISA Representative Gains Selection in the Australian Schools Football Team

St Pius X College has just received the exciting news that its star forward, Jack Berte, has been picked for the Australian Schools Opens side to tour the UK & Ireland in January.  Jack, who has played for the college 1st XI for three seasons, progressed through the School, ISA, CIS and NSW Representative sides to be selected in the touring squad of sixteen players. Jack’s selection for Australian Schools is the colleges’ first such representative since 2002 when student Daniel Bateup received similar recognition.

Jack has personally had a brilliant season but importantly been a part of the successful SPX 1st XI which won the state-wide NSWCIS Cup, July Cup and St Andrew’s Plate. The side currently lead the ISA competition and Jack will try to help St Pius X College lift the All Schools Championship against Westfield Sports High in September.
